Become a Handyperson volunteer!
We are looking for Handyperson Volunteers to join our team and support our community by working alongside staff to perform light practical duties, including:
- Changing lightbulbs
- Changing batteries in smoke detectors
- Measuring up
- Shopping for materials
- Moving furniture
- Assembling flat packs
- Light gardening
- Small carpentry tasks
- Basic plumbing
- Installing shelves
- Decorating
- Repairing garden fences
- Other relevant duties

What We’re Looking For
- Volunteers aged 16+
- Some experience in DIY tasks with a commitment to high standards
- Friendly, caring individuals with a passion for helping others
Requirements:
- References will be required
- Enhanced DBS clearance (due to working with vulnerable adults)
