Trustee Speed Matching
We will share a series of short presentations from organisations seeking to recruit volunteer trustees followed by a similar pitch from applicants wanting to offer their time and skills as trustees. These may be accompanied by a slideshow if you wish.
Be aware that this is a ‘speed dating’ style event and time is of the essence. We ask that you to keep the presentations to around Three minutes
We ask presenting organisations to state:
• Who you are (mission, purpose and goals, values and ethical stance)
• Your governance structure and aims
• The trustee positions available
• What you’re looking for in a volunteer trustee
The volunteer trustee candidates are asked present who they are, why they are seeking such a position, their background and the value they can bring to an organisation they wish to support.
After the session, Communities1st will ask for feedback, contact everyone who participated and where appropriate, arrange follow-up meetings and interviews between the organisations and candidates. These may take the form of virtual or face to face sessions and we would expect these to take place around the middle of February.
