Your Community Hub for the local community is in the heart of the north side of Borehamwood. Pop by for free help and advice - this is available to all those who need it. Our friendly team are on hand to help with everything from computer and smartphone assistance, to supporting you with financial advice.

The Hub is open on:

  • 9am - 3.45pm Mondays - Thursdays.
  • 9am - 1pm on Fridays.

What can I find at the Community Hub?

At the Hub you can find the following facilities, support and opportunities:

Advice and Services

  • Advice signposting, Healthy Hub and Local Agency Hubs.
    • Borehamwood Foodbank will be holding a weekly evening foodbank in the Hub.
    • SAHWR Outreach will hold a drop-in session every other Thursday from 7th September 2023, 10am - 12pm.


  • Health and wellbeing activities, such as community bowling, shopping trips, days out, creative cafés, and more!


  • Information on local accessible community transport and household support, such as our Handyperson and Gardening services.


  • Volunteering opportunities.

Quitting Smoking Support

Want to quit smoking but not sure where to start? We can help you! You can self-refer to our service online, or walk in to the hub and we'll get started with you then and there.

Digital Support

  • Assistance contacting your GP if you're struggling with online services or an automated telephone system.
  • Help to use smartphones, tablets and other technological devices.

Employment Support

  • Creating online job-seeking profiles
  • Writing CVs, personal statements, and cover letters
  • interview techniques 
  • and much more

 These sessions are being held every Friday from 1:00pm - 3:00pm, starting May 17th at 5 Leeming Road, Borehamwood, WD6 4EB.

Parent Community Cafe

This is a Hertsmere Schools Partnership, WD6 Food Support and Communities 1st collaboration, helping you to benefit from School Family Worker support. This cafe takes place on Thursdays at Windsor Hall. Click here to find out more.

Borehamwood Foodbank - coming soon!

The Hub is hoping to soon be able to host an evening Foodbank session for those in need of support who are unable to get to the Foodbank during daytime hours due to their work patterns. For more information, visit the website, email or call 0208 583 1109.
