Scam Awareness Guide
Download your comprehensive guide on scam awareness. In an increasingly connected world, staying informed and vigilant is your best defence against the myriad of scams that target individuals, especially international recruits unfamiliar with local practices. This leaflet is designed to empower you with the necessary knowledge and tools to identify and avoid scams, ensuring a safe and successful experience in the UK.
Scam Awareness Webinars
We are hosting eight scam awareness webinars for internationally recruited care workers, as well as IRE Spoke colleagues, social care managers and local authority representatives. These webinars will address the following key themes:
- Navigating UK systems and processes
- Unethical employment practices
- Safe housing
- Financial and online scams
- Global context for scams
- Seeking help and reporting scams
- Interactive knowledge-building activities
Each webinar will last approximately one hour and will include a relatable real-life case study, practical demonstrations and discussions.
