Community Car

Do you struggle to use public transport?

What is the Community Car Scheme?

This is a safe, secure, and affordable door-to-door service for people who are unable to use public transport because of mobility problems or other special needs.

Volunteers use their own cars; folded wheelchairs may be taken in most. They are not trained to assist in wheelchair-to/from-car transfers, so users must be able to do this themselves. If a wheelchair user is unable to transfer, please ring to speak to a member of staff. We may be able to arrange for you to use our wheelchair-accessible car.
