Description: We are looking for new volunteers to expand our team of excellent trainers to run coaching sessions each week in Borehamwood. You will receive training from the project leader and you will be training our members on how to use Zoom, browse the internet, shop online and play games. This is a very rewarding role as our members have found this project has given them a lifeline during the recent isolation of lockdown. Your role will be to meet the person, explain in simple terms how to use the equipment - which we will supply pre-loaded with the Apps such as Zoom - and ensure they can use it successfully.
Practical Considerations: The meetings would be at a time that suits you and the member. As this role involves working with vulnerable adults, it will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Requirements: Relevant qualification or training, Will require a criminal record check (DBS)
Suitable for: 18 – 25 year olds, Aged 26 and over, University students, Older People, People with restricted mobility
