We are looking for a Volunteer Administrator to support a member of our Carers Support Team for approximately 5 hours per month.

Opportunity Type: Long-term Commitment

Location: From your office

Time of day: Weekday Mornings, Weekday Afternoons

Practical Considerations: Due to the location of the role, applicants will need to live locally and have a good understanding of the Dacorum demographics and services as well as brief understanding of Dementia.

The office is located on the first floor of the building.

Requirements: Will require a criminal record check (DBS), Own vehicle or access to a vehicle, Driving licence

Requirements (additional): Good communication skills

Full Description:
We are looking for an administrative volunteer to support our Carer Support Team with various admin tasks based at our Hemel Hempstead office.

The role would be for approximately 5 hours per month working in the office with the Carer Support Specialist so there is flexibility around days / times.


Duties would include:

- help with ideas for quizzes and printing quizzes for Carers Groups
- assisting with creating flyers and group/event programmes
- general printing, laminating, etc., if when/required

Additionally, there is the opportunity to attend Carers Groups and events, and attend appropriate training for voluntary sector, for the support of unpaid carers.
