We restored and maintain the St Albans Signal Box and now operate it as a free to visit, hands-on, visitor attraction and museum. We open approx. 25 times a year to the public and also host a similar number of private visits by community groups. The charity is supported entirely by voluntary contributions.

Full Description:
We welcome volunteers to help with gardening and site maintenance, restoring artefacts, hosting visitors (welcome, tea hut and merchandise) along with demonstrating the signalling equipment.

Just drop in for an hour every so often or come on a regular basis - whatever suits you. There is also chance to learn about local railway history and all our railway artefacts too. It's great company and you will be helping run this attraction and bringing the experience to wide range of youngsters, families and the elderly.
