If you have organisational skills and enthusiasm for promoting and encouraging donations, we would love to hear from you. You do not need fundraising experience to help our Treasurer and Community Engagement team to increase our income.

Practical Considerations: We anticipate an average of four hours a week will be required to fulfil the role, but the actual time commitment might vary from week to week.
Applicants will need to undergo a short formal interview, supply two references, have an ID check, undertake basic Samaritans training and sign a volunteer agreement.

Requirements: Will require a criminal record check (DBS)

Suitable for volunteers interested in: Crisis Support, Health and Wellbeing, Mental Health, Voluntary & Community Action

Full Description:
You will work closely with the Treasurer and Community Engagement team to develop a strategy, annual priorities, and action plans to help meet our revenue targets. Key responsibilities include keeping track of donations, promoting sponsored events, organising collections, encouraging legacies and helping with developing new fundraising initiatives.
