Full Description:
Would you like to join our small Team running the virtual “office” for Computer Friendly? This is a great opportunity to be involved in helping people struggling with technology, even if you haven’t the technical knowledge yourself. The role would involve answering the phone and answering questions such as “when is the next Drop-In in Harpenden”, “my email has stopped working”, “I’d like to learn how to use a computer”. We don’t expect you to have technical knowledge, but rather the ability and patience to talk to people looking for help. Generally this involves suggesting a visit to a Drop-In or booking a place on a Course. You would be using our Microsoft Teams phone system to make and receive calls and our Access database to enter client information and book courses and one to one sessions. You would also use Squareup.com to take card payments.
