We are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team on Monday afternoons at Redbourn Parish Centre from 14:30-16:30. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to help people struggling with technology and is available on a Monday afternoon. You’ll need a reasonable working knowledge of Windows/Apple/Android devices, and the patience to help a complete beginner, often an older person. You will find a great sense of achievement and satisfaction in helping people understand how to use and enjoy the many benefits of a digital device.

Practical Considerations: We offer: full induction and training in safeguarding, data protection and other relevant areas, expenses e.g. travel, DBS check costs.

Requirements: Will require a criminal record check (DBS)

Computer Friendly is a registered charity with a team of 50+ friendly volunteers. We run courses for adults to learn how to use smart phones/tablets/laptops and we also run free Drop-In sessions offering 1 to 1 support with computer problems.
