What is Volunteers' Week?
This year marks the 40th anniversary of Volunteers' Week, a celebration which starts on the first Monday in June every year, to recognise, celebrate and thank the nation's incredible volunteers! Volunteers do such wonderful work in our communities, the voluntary sector and society as a whole.
This year, from Monday 3 - Friday 7 June, we're hosting celebration events, sharing our volunteers' and member organisations volunteer experiences, and saying thank you to everyone who works to support us in the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector.
Volunteer Celebrations
As an extra special thank you, we would like to invite our wonderful volunteers to join us at celebrations where you'll get the chance to enjoy complimentary refreshments and great chat with other brilliant volunteers.
