What Is a Community Research Champion?
A Community Research Champion is someone who helps bridge the gap between researchers and the local community. Champions:
- Raise awareness of research opportunities in their local area.
- Encourage and support people to get involved in research.
- Work alongside researchers to shape studies that matter to their community.
- Ensure that research is inclusive, accessible, and relevant to local needs.
No experience is necessary – just a passion for helping others and an interest in making a difference. We provide free training and support, so you’ll be fully equipped for the role.
