The hot desks in our St Albans office and Borehamwood Hub are available for anybody to use. Bring your own device and:
- Connect to our WiFi
- Sit at a comfortable desk and chair
- Enjoy a hot drink while you work
Use of our kitchens and bathrooms are available to hot deskers.

Ver House Hot Desk
Ver House is home to the Communities 1st main office. It's a bustling hub of activity and friendly faces.

If you hire a hot desk at Ver House, you'll receive access to our WiFi, kitchen and toilet facilities. There are also breakout spaces throughout the office and a separate lunch room you can relax in.
Your Community Hub Hot Desk
Your Community Hub is Communities 1st one-stop shop for the community to meet us and say hello.

Hot Desk Perks
There are kitchen and toilet facilities for your use. If you hire a hot desk at Your Community Hub, you can bring your own device and connect to our WiFi or make use of one of our computers. If you need something scanned, bring it along!

Public Computer Perks
When you use our public computers, we can help you with typing, scanning and emailing. Also, basic form filling. As well, you can find out about all our brilliant health and wellbeing activities, volunteering opportunities, community bowling and accessible transport services.
Current Bookings
There is no need to book ahead to use the computers. If they are free, you can use them.
Workspaces
If you would prefer to work in your own space, you can rent a self-contained office in one of our community centres. Click the button below to visit our community centre page. Offices are available at:

These come with a table and chairs for your use.
Aberford Community Centre Office
As well as office space, Aberford Community Centre boasts a hall, kitchen, and bowling rinks for hire.

As well as an office and meeting room, Farriers Way Community Centre boasts a hall and kitchen for hire.
