Join us for our 'Computers and a Cuppa' sessions, offering direct expert guidance in a welcoming environment.

Why join Computers and a Cuppa?

Learn essential digital tools and skills to simplify your daily life!

We'll help you use the NHS app to manage health appointments and also how to use social media to connect with loved ones. Learn online banking and grocery shopping from home, plus how to use Zoom for virtual gatherings and access entertainment like Netflix and e-books. We’ll also cover essential cybersecurity practices and enhancing home security with smart devices like Alexa and Google Home.

Don’t worry if your issue isn’t listed here—our flexible volunteers can assist with various tech problems. Just ask!

Our volunteers will make sure you feel comfortable and supported throughout. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to expand your tech skills, our sessions are designed to meet your needs in a relaxed environment. If you don’t have a device yet, our volunteers can recommend the best options for you.

The library is open on Thursdays from 10am-2pm for self-service only. Remember your library card if you'd like to take out a book!

Wyllyotts Theatre

Donate preloved devices

If you have a device you're no longer using, please consider donating it to our Digital Inclusion project.

Help keep your community connected in today’s digital world. We accept donations of tablets, smartphones, laptops, monitors, and desktops. Each device will be carefully wiped, refurbished, and certified. Your contribution can make a real difference for those in need.

Please note:
Any devices which have a security pin will need to be unlocked before it is donated, as well as disconnected from any cloud storage and back-up setups.
