Beyond Borders

Supporting migrant communities in Hertfordshire with integration through information, guidance, and volunteer-led activities

Helping migrants thrive

We help migrants feel at home within the UK.

Our cultural orientation helps people settle in, encouraging friendships with local residents to create a sense of community. We also offer practical support, like opportunities to put their English into practice and skill development sessions, to improve work opportunities and independence.

Along with this, we aid connect people to health services to support their long-term wellbeing.

How we can support

We offer personalised needs assessments, well-being checks, and a befriending program to support integration.

We provide a variety of programs and resources to promote community connections, wellness, and support. Our offerings include social and educational activities, assistance with employment and financial matters, access to technology, peer support and guidance.

Open to all migrants, including asylum seekers and refugees, our services are free for eligible participants. Support is available at our community centres or via email and phone. Family-friendly activities are offered, with some programmes tailored for children.
