We provide hot meals and drinks, plus somewhere to meet on Sunday to Thursday evenings at the Salvation Army Citadel in Victoria Street, St Albans. And separately at 2a Spicer Street, we provide a morning meal, hot drinks, the opportunity for a shower and some access to second hand clothes on Monday to Fridays.
Centre 33, at both locations, offers a warm and welcoming place for our visitors to get off the streets and meet friends in addition to the provision of nourishing meals.

Need for volunteers:
Our services are run entirely by volunteers: we need 4 volunteers (including a team leader) for the evening meals and 3 volunteers (again including a team leader) for the morning sessions.

Cooking, serving food and drinks, clearing up at the end of the session, plus talking with our visitors as time and opportunity allow. Full training is provided.
Requirements: Applicants need to be self-starters who are confident enough to operate in a small team. There are no managers on site – just volunteers plus team leaders.
