Would you like to help, support and teach at our disability swimming club, 1 hour a week Sundays 11:30-12:30?

We have a wide variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities, from young children to older adults.

So if you like swimming and want to make a difference in the community, please let us know.

Suitable for: 14 - 15 Years Old With Accompanied Adult, 16 – 17 year olds, 18 – 25 year olds, Aged 26 and over, School students, University students, Older People, People with restricted mobility

Suitable for volunteers interested in: Health and Wellbeing, Learning Disabilities , Physical Disabilities, Sport, Activity & Outdoor Pursuits

Full Description:
Barracuda Swimming Club are looking for a swimming volunteer to join our small team.

We meet every Sunday 11:30 for an hour at Furzefield Leisure Centre, Potters Bar, where we have exclusive use of the main pool.

Our aim is to improve water confidence for people with disabilities through fun and games, rather than structured lessons.

An enhanced DBS is required, which will be funded by the club. There is also an opportunity to gain Halliwick Association qualifications through the club.

This is a great opportunity to create inclusion for disabled people in a swimming environment.
