Full Description:
St Albans Mencap is a long‑standing local charity supporting people with learning disabilities and their families across the district. We deliver inclusive, person‑centred services.
Adult Services (19+) providing meaningful day opportunities, community engagement, skills development, and wellbeing‑focused support for adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
We are now seeking Volunteer Support Workers to help us launch and grow our brand‑new Hatfield service, opening on 5 August 2026. The service will run one day a week to start, Wednesdays only, with plans to expand as demand grows.
Volunteer Support Workers will help adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions take part in meaningful activities, build confidence, and enjoy a safe, inclusive day service.
