Today is UK Charity Week’s Christmas Jumper Day!  People are encouraged to wear their best (or silliest) Christmas jumper to support a good cause. If you decide to participate, whether at home or in the office, please send us your photos!

We would also like to remind you that Hertsmere's Healthy Hubs have new services available, including lateral flow testing kits and sexual health kits for collection. If you need help or support with your wellbeing, whether that's mental health, weight management or stopping smoking, please pop in and see us. Find more information below.

16 Days of Action Against Domestic Violence 

Seven percent of women and five percent of men  in England and Wales experienced domestic violence in the last year alone. Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline is a confidential, free support and signposting service for anyone affected by domestic abuse. Their phone lines are open 9am - 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 4pm weekends. Read more.

New Covid-19 Measures Announced in Response to the Omicron Variant
The Prime Minister has announced new measures in response to the Omicron variant. The NHS is working on plans to expand the booster programme to everyone aged 18 years and over and people aged 16 years and over with a severely weakened immune system. You must wait to be called for your vaccine from the NHS, they will contact you when you are eligible. Book your booster jab here.
