March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Sign up to our online Talk Cancer Workshop, that will help arm you with the tools needed to raise cancer awareness in your community. The session will help you encourage people to make healthy changes, access local services and visit their GP promptly with any concerns.
You can find lots more ideas on how to help raise awareness on the Ovarian Cancer Action website.
Next week is Eating Disorder Awareness Week. This year the event highlights how important is not to ignore hidden requests for help. If you or one of your families suffers from an eating disorder you can contact BEAT, a charity that offers practical guides to help you identify and control eating disorders.
Remember, on Monday 28th of February you can find us at the Borehamwood Foodbank, from 1pm to 3:30pm!
Many Thanks,
Nicola Oneill
