Be the heart of our tea party group.Our Group Coordinators are the bread and butter of our monthly tea parties - the friendly organisers who bring everything (and everyone!) together.
This is a varied and truly meaningful role that makes a real difference to the lives of lonely or isolated older people in Harlow.
As a coordinator, you'll take care of everything from arranging the annual tea party schedule and matching older guests with volunteer drivers, to welcoming new volunteers and guests into the group. You'll stay in regular contact with everyone, helping to build a warm, inclusive atmosphere where lasting friendships can grow.
You'll be fully supported by the Re-engage team with training, guidance and plenty of cheer along the way.

Practical Considerations: To become a tea party group coordinator you’ll need to:
Have a telephone induction call
Complete an ID check
Provide a reference
Complete online volunteer training modules
Although many tea party group coordinators are also tea party drivers, this is not a requirement of the role

This role would suit someone who is friendly, reliable and comfortable chatting with volunteers and older guests from all walks of life. A dash of creativity and enthusiasm for promoting your group locally is always a bonus too!
