We are looking for a Trustee Chair

Practical Considerations: The Trustee should be able to get to Wheathampstead easily to make ad hoc visits to the three businesses and to attend the bi-monthly Trustee meeting on a weekday evening.

You do not need previous experience as a Trustee or Chair. What matters most is good judgement, an interest in our community, the ability to work collaboratively and a willingness to contribute your skills, experience and ideas. Experience in any of the following could be particularly useful:
• leadership or management;
• business, finance or strategy;
• people management or HR;
• charities or community organisations;
• health, fitness or wellbeing;
• property or facilities;
• fundraising;
• marketing and communications;
• safeguarding or risk management; or
• partnership and community working.

Wheathampstead Chapel Community Hub (WCCH) is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Board of Trustees as Chairman to help shape the next stage of our development.

WCCH is a local charity at the heart of Wheathampstead. Our activities include:
• the Chapel Gym – our thriving community gym;
• the Chapel Halls – welcoming spaces for community groups, classes, events and private hire;
• the Community Kitchen – bringing people together over freshly prepared meals and helping reduce loneliness and social isolation

Our community facilities and services welcome people of all faiths and none, and people of all ages and backgrounds.
