Sexual Harassment Awareness Workshop

Communities 1^st Better Business, in partnership with our associate members DOHR Ltd, will be delivering a new training workshop in the New Year focussing on Sexual Harassment Awareness in the workplace.

DOHR Ltd will be delivering the workshop on the day. They are an HR Consultancy specialising in training on a range of HR issues, from recruitment and management of staff through to awareness of bullying and discrimination.

Following the #metoo movement there has been a growing spotlight on the issue of sexual harassment in the workplace. It is important for organisations to ensure their employees and volunteers are conscious of what is and isn’t appropriate in their behaviour towards other members of staff, but it’s also an area that is frequently missed in the training and development of employees and volunteers.

The presentation will aim to increase organisations’ awareness and understanding of the issue, as well as the responsibilities of organisations and how to deal appropriately with instances of sexual harassment.
