We are delighted to be hosting a talk from Dr Glen Moran, a Sociologist and Criminologist at the University of Hertfordshire. Glen will be discussing harm and trust in research which is drawn from his experiences and specialisms in Middle Eastern studies, the sociology of religion and qualitative methodologies.
Researchers will hear from community voices and are invited to reflect on their own practices to ensure they are working in a community-minded way. Individuals from the community are encouraged to attend to voice opinions and feedback of research directly to researchers with the aim of helping shape local research practices.
Both academics and community groups are invited to attend. Come along for insightful conversations, connections, refreshments and breakfast!
