Media Relations and Campaigns Lead - (Fixed term to 30th March 2021)
Full Time (37 hours per week) £25,481
The Media Relations and Campaigns Lead will deliver media activity on a number of priorities for the organisation and various partnership projects - finding and delivering meaningful proactive stories about the development and delivery of the community response to the Covid-19 pandemic, as well responding to other emerging stories and issues to ensure that Communities 1st, Community Help Hertforshire and Volunteering Herts, their staff, volunteers and their work are fairly represented, and the information that local residents get through the media, is accurate.
The Media Relations and Campaigns Lead will also take forward the development and delivery of a digital communications and engagement strategy to engage residents and other key stakeholders. Working across traditional and digital channels including the website, social media and print publications the postolder will help Communties 1st tell its story br creating compelling content about the work being undertaken. They will need to juggle multiple projects, delivering high quality, engaging content and campaigns on time and on message.
