We support over 200 children and adults with a learning disability and their families across the Borough of Hertsmere. We employ a small number of part time staff, sessional workers and volunteers.
Volunteering at our Thursday evening Youth Club is alot of fun. As a volunteer, you will:
Engage with Youth: help facilitate activities, games and discussions
Create Fun: Contribute to a lively and welcoming environment
Be Part of a Community: work with a dynamic team
Build skills: Enhance your leadership, communication and teamwork abilities
Join a team of caring, fun and dedicated volunteers and staff and most feel a huge sense of enjoyment and satisfaction volunteering with us.

Practical Considerations: Youth Club runs from 7pm - 9pm each Thursday in Borehamwood (WD6).
Volunteers are required to arrive 15 minutes before the session to set up and 15 minutes after the session to tidy up.
Parking is available.
Requirements: Will require a criminal record check (DBS)
Requirements (additional): Friendly, engaging, patient and tolerant/understanding of vulnerable people. Be prepared to have lots of fun!
Suitable for: 18 – 25 year olds, Aged 26 and over, University students, Older People, People with restricted mobility
Suitable for volunteers interested in: Arts & Crafts, Carers Support, Social Activities
