We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media & Communication Volunteer to support our organization in promoting our initiatives and increasing our online presence. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about social media, digital marketing, and content creation. In this role, you will assist in developing promotional materials, creating engaging content, and managing our social media channels to help drive awareness and engagement for Broxbourne Big Local cause.

Full Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and executing social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content, including graphics, posts, videos, and stories.
• Monitor and manage social media accounts, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Track performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide reports on social media engagement and reach.
• Help design promotional materials for events, campaigns, or initiatives.
• Assist in brainstorming and implementing event campaigns to increase visibility and engagement.
• Research and stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to improve our digital marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with other volunteers to create consistent messaging and content across all channels.
• Support other promotional activities as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong interest in social media platforms and digital marketing.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• A proactive and creative mindset with a desire to learn and contribute to the success of marketing campaigns.
• Experience or familiarity with social media management tools is a bonus.
