Practical Considerations: This role may involve some travel within Hertfordshire. Reasonable out of pocket expenses will be covered by prior agreement.

Full Description:
Herts Visual Arts CIC is expanding. Our ambitious plans will increase the support we offer to art and artists in Hertfordshire and will further enrich local communities through greater access to visual arts events and activities.
HVA wishes to underpin our programme of events through building financially beneficial opportunities for both business and HVA.
The existing HVA programme of events, exhibitions and communications across the county, provide connections to local organisations who wish to promote themselves to our audiences: people who buy art, love art and see the benefit of creativity in their lives. HVA Artists are also purchasers of a number of products and services.
What are we looking for?
You will be a good communicator with sales and marketing experience as well as excellent relationship building and organisational skills.
What will you do?
The Business Relationship Developer will:
1. Familiarise themselves with details of the opportunities HVA can offer
2. Research and identify businesses and organisations that might be interested in these offers
3. Maintain a record of the organisations, key contacts, any past contacts and the outcomes
4. Build relationships with these contacts, identifying and discussing mutually beneficial relationships
5. Organise networking meetings that bring together advertisers, sponsors and business members giving them the opportunity to work collaboratively through HVA run meetups.
6. Obtain advertisers, sponsors and new Business Members to support HVA events and publications
7. Provide regular reports to the Executive Team which include income generation.
This role reports to the Treasurer and Executive Team.
What’s in it for you?
This role combines home-based online research, email and telephone contact with business prospects, and in-person visits when appropriate.
You will measure your success in terms of contacts made, new member signups, new relationshps built as much as in the achievement of support such as advertising, sponsorship or in-kind contributions.
