Trestle School of Drama’s Holiday sessions run for five consecutive days and are a mix of games and exercises aimed to develop movement, vocal choral technique and acting skills. Each workshop will explore a different devised theme or text working towards a performance or informal sharing at the end of the week. We’ll be discovering a range of theatre styles and techniques and promoting ensemble-based theatre practice. Sessions will be run in our professional theatre space and studio with access to specialised technical equipment.

What are Trestle’s Child Protection Procedures?
We have a clear process for raising any safeguarding concerns that all staff members are familiar with. In the case of any concerns School of Drama staff members know to report to the designated Child Protection Officer, Helen Barnett who will seek advice from the Local Safeguarding Children’s Board on all subsequent steps to be taken. Staff will keep accurate records in connection with any child protection concerns which will be kept securely and passed on to the local authorities if required.
