We are excited to announce that, following a thorough and rigorous process, we have achieved the Local Infrastructure Quality Accreditation (LIQA) demonstrating the high quality of the services and support we offer, and the impact in supporting local charity and community groups.
By attaining the LIQA, we have shown that we deliver the four functions of infrastructure which are leadership and advocacy, partnerships and collaborations, capacity building and volunteering to a high standard. This accreditation is awarded by the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA) and is valid for three years.
Stephen Craker, Chief Executive of Communities 1st said, “I am proud that Communities 1st has been recognised for this accreditation by NAVCA. We have shown adaptability and responsiveness in making sure that our services meet the needs of local charities and community groups. We are dedicated to working in partnership with the sector to achieve our goals and help the communities we serve to thrive. I would like to thank our stakeholders and member organisations, as well as the team at Communities 1st for their continued hard work and dedication. Without a thriving voluntary sector, we could not do the work we do”.
