Federation of Zionist Youth (FZY)
Ideologically, above all else, FZY is a Jewish, Zionist, pluralist youth movement.
The vision statement of FZY is:
The Jewish People living in peace in the State of Israel as One People and as a Light Unto the Nations.
The mission statement of FZY is:
To inspire and educate all Jewish Youth with whom FZY comes into contact to take part in the future of the Jewish people, and its ultimate expression in the State of Israel.
FZY’s ideology is actualised through four aims, which we embed into our programming and our dialogue:
Magen – Defence of Jewish rights;
Tzedakah – Righteousness;
Tarbut – Jewish and Israeli culture; and
Aliyah Nimshechet – Moving to Israel and continuing to do good for the state
We have regular weekly meetings throughout London and the UK, as well as numerous summer and year-round programmes including Israel tour, a year course in Israel, volunteering trips to Ghana and fundraising activities to benefit Jewish and non-Jewish communities.
