Fantastic Friday Newsletter

Welcome to the latest Fantastic Friday newsletter, which includes a range of local services, vacancies, and social events.

The ‘Knit and Natter’ group meet every Thursday morning in the Hub at 5 Leeming Road, to have a friendly chat and connect with others across the community. The group are looking at new projects to support over the coming months which may include making traffic light hats for neo-natal babies.

Our Healthy Hubs offer a source of health and wellbeing information advice and support, making sure you get the help and guidance that is right for you. There are several ways to access our hubs, via phone, email, video call, or in-person walk ins. Find your local Healthy Hub here.

We are continuing to support those who are isolated and vulnerable, through shopping deliveries, prescription collection, and our transport and handyperson services. We also continue to provide our telephone befriending service, that provides company to those who might feel alone. If you or someone you know would benefit from any of these services, you can find more information about how to sign up below.

Many thanks,

Nicola Oneill
Wellbeing Services Manager
