As our Hub helper, your main roles will be to greet people when coming into the hub, admin tasks which includes helping visitors fill out application forms, offering assistance with any queries they may have.

• Covering reception duties, answering
the telephones and welcoming users to
the hub
• Providing information about the charity’s
activities to the public
• Supporting volunteers to apply for our
members volunteer opportunities

Location: From your office, Indoor

Time of day: Weekday Mornings, Weekday Afternoons

Practical Considerations: We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and abilities.

References will be required from applications and will be taken up.

Requirements: Will require a criminal record check (DBS)

Suitable for: 18 – 25 year olds, Aged 26 and over, Older People, People with a visual impairment, People with restricted mobility

Suitable for volunteers interested in: Mental Health, Older People, Unemployment & Worklessness, Voluntary & Community Action

Full Description:
As our Hub helper, your main roles will be to greet people when coming into the hub, admin tasks which includes helping visitors fill out application forms, offering assistance with any queries they may have.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience;

Committed to working with the community with a passion for helping others less fortunate,
Ability to maintain confidentiality,
Reasonable ICT experience, however, no formal qualifications required,
Ability to monitor and maintain own standards and pay attention to detail,
Good interpersonal skills,
Flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team,
Ability to work independently and ask for clarification when needed and
Commit at least 2 days per month.
