Christmas is our busiest time and an opportunity to really boost our income to help more local patients and families. The Retail and Trading team need a group of busy Christmas Elves to help their friendly team pack and dispatch items sold on ebay and other online platforms, and to keep stock moving out to our 25 shops.

Time of day: Weekday Mornings, Weekday Afternoons, Weekday Evenings

Practical Considerations: • someone with some time to spare in the run up to Christmas who is happy to get stuck in and help the team
• a reasonable level of fitness as you will be moving around the warehouse, and moving things on and off our shelving system

Suitable for: 16 – 17 year olds, 18 – 25 year olds, Aged 26 and over, School students, University students

Full Description:
What will you be doing?
• picking stock from the warehouse and packing it up for delivery to the shops or postage out to online customers
• despatching stock
• keeping the warehouse stock replenished

What are we looking for?
• someone with some time to spare in the run up to Christmas who is happy to get stuck in and help the team
• a reasonable level of fitness as you will be moving around the warehouse, and moving things on and off our shelving system

Training and support
• you will be line managed by our online co-ordinator
• there will be some mandatory training that you will need to complete at the start of your volunteering with us and then periodically afterwards as refresher training
• your line manager will organise training specific to your role
