Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days.
Since 1999 Willow has fulfilled more than 17,000 Special Days for young adults living with life-threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy and Huntington’s disease.

Practical Considerations: If potential volunteers would like to pop along to the store, to meet with the team, they would be most welcome. Potential volunteers may like to have a trial session in store, to see if the role is the right one for them – we can accommodate this too.
Full training will be provided.

Full Description:
Volunteer Retail Assistants carry out one or more tasks, agreed with the Shop Manager.
Tasks could include:
serving customers
preparing stock
creating window displays
restocking and attractively merchandising the shop floor
financial processes
Full training will be provided to ensure volunteers feel confident in their tasks and that all shop activities are carried out in line with Retail standards and guidelines.
Volunteers are encouraged to share their ideas, support other team members and attend occasional shop meetings. Support is provided to volunteers by Shop Manager, Assistant Shop Manager and the Head of Retail.
