Carers in Hertfordshire is a charity supporting unpaid family carers who provide support to family members, friends or neighbours who without your support would not be able to
manage. They may have a physical or learning disability, dementia, mental health problems, may misuse drugs or alcohol or may be ill or frail. Our Hub groups provide a safe space for carers to connect with others, share experiences,
get support or advice and learn new skills in a friendly environment over a cuppa.
Opportunity Type: Long-term Commitment
District: Broxbourne, East Herts, Hertsmere, St Albans, Watford, Welwyn/Hatfield
Location: Indoor
Time of day: Weekday Mornings, Weekday Afternoons
Practical Considerations: All out of pocket expenses such as mileage or parking can be claimed
Please note this opportunity is only available to those over 18 years of age, and a DBS check is required.

Full Description:
The Role:
Welcoming carers to the meeting.
Taking a register and noting details of new carers to be registered.
Facilitating the group to ensure everyone is included and heard.
Introducing guest speakers.
Feeding back any relevant questions or concerns to your dedicated Hub Co-Ordinator.
Closing the meeting, tidying and locking up the venue if necessary.
