How Derbyshire’s Relational Model supports Investment in VCFSE Providers

Registration is closed for this event

Work being developed in Derbyshire provides an opportunity through a fund that enables investment to flow to VCFSE provider organisations through their relational model. Through Social Prescribing and many other referral processes the biggest barrier can be covering the costs associated with activities, many of which are subject to competitive, short-term and overly prescriptive funding terms. This can create an unnecessary barrier for people who are unable to self-fund and for referrers such as Social Prescribing link workers who want to refer into VCFSE sector when they are not sufficiently resourced to meet ongoing demand. In this session we will explore how it is possible to address this fundamental issue and hear how money flows to improve referrals through Derbyshire’s relational model.

This session will be of particular use to funders, commissioners, those developing social prescribing, VCFSE providers –and anyone else with an interest in this area! Please join us to find out more.
