Teens Unite Fighting Cancer

Teens Unite is all about community – bringing together young people aged 13-24 who are overcoming the challenges that cancer brings. These young people face a specific set of challenges which are often overlooked when compared to children or adults with cancer. The reality is, not only are these young people forced into a fight for survival, but the start of a wider, ongoing, and often very long-lasting battle. For many, their diagnosis will lead to lower educational attainment, barriers to employment, relationship difficulties, body image issues, ongoing physical challenges and a significant impact on their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

We deliver a program of regular events, a mixture of digital and in-person, designed to help the young people progress, learn new skills, have something positive to look forward to and most importantly be part of a community where they are with others who genuinely understand what it is like to face a life-threatening illness in their teenage and early adult years.
