The Green House

The Green House St Albans CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company set up to establish and run a community ‘eco-hub’ in central St Albans for the benefit of the St Albans district. The aim of The Green House is to promote sustainability, protect our local biodiversity and help reduce our carbon footprint. The eco-hub provides a physical space for various community-led services, and opportunities for learning and connecting such as an eco library and book club, a junior Climate Club a sewing repair cafe and a Library of Things called Share St Albans. The Green House also acts as a drop off place for hard to recycle items and runs regular talks and events .
