Neighbourhood Watch - St.Albans

St Albans District Neighbourhood Watch exists to bring communities together to create a safer, stronger, and more connected district. Our core purpose is to reduce crime, build trust between residents and local police, and support neighbourhoods in looking out for one another.

We provide support and guidance to residents across St Albans who want to take an active role in keeping their communities safe. This includes sharing crime prevention advice, reporting concerns, running awareness campaigns, and helping coordinators set up and sustain local schemes.

Our activities range from community engagement events and training sessions, to regular communication through newsletters, alerts, and social media updates. We also work closely with Hertfordshire Police, local councils, and other partners to improve community safety and wellbeing.

We operate across the St Albans district, supporting both established and new schemes. Regular meetings and networking breakfasts are held for coordinators, members, and partners to share updates, raise issues, and strengthen collaboration.
