Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care
Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care is a charity providing palliative and end of life care to adults within Buckinghamshire and West Hertfordshire.
The charity provides care and support to people living with a progressive life-limiting illness which is free of charge and available from the point of diagnosis in four main phases: early support to cope with a diagnosis, living well, dying well and bereavement.
Care is tailored to the individual needs of each person and is delivered in the place that is right for them. This may be in their own home, at the Peace Hospice Inpatient Unit or at one of the charity's Living Well centres.
Rennie Grove Peace offers holistic care that addresses the physical, emotional and practical needs of each person. From peer support to nursing care or complementary therapies to emotional support, each person can access the range of support that is right for them. Support extends to those around each individual, including bereavement support after a loved one dies.
As a charity only a small proportion of funding comes from statutory sources. The charity relies on the generosity of local communities to raise the funds needed to continue providing these vital services.
