This is a great opportunity for someone who is reasonably proficient with an Apple iPad or Android tablet has some time available during the working week and would like to help people get online. Do you have enough knowledge of using Apple or Android tablets and phones and the patience to help a complete beginner? Whatever your level of knowledge, a willingness to learn and availability during the working day is the most important.Opportunity Type: Long-term Commitment

Computer Friendly is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team running short courses for either iPad/iPhone or Android tablet and phone beginners in St Albans and Harpenden. This is a great opportunity for someone who has some available time during the working week (typically a morning or afternoon) and would like to help people get online. If you have a reasonable working knowledge of either Apple or Android devices, and the patience to help a complete beginner, often an older person, we’d love to hear from you. Whatever your level of knowledge, a willingness to learn and availability during the working day is the most important. We would also love to hear from you if you have knowledge in other areas such as Windows and MS Office. Expenses covering mileage will be paid by the charity. You will find a great sense of achievement and satisfaction in helping people understand how to use and enjoy the many benefits of a digital device.
