Compassionate Communities Group Volunteers are trained local people who offer their companionship, time, social and emotional support to people towards the end of life due to age or illness and/or people who are suffering with a loss in any format like bereavement in a group setting like a Community Hub and/or Compassionate Café.Opportunity Type: Long-term Commitment

Full Description:
Can you help help run a local Community Hub and/or Compassionate Café in the community with the support from Community Engagement team and clinical team.
You will help set up the venue to be welcoming, offer friendship, emotional support and a listening ear to attendeeshelp attendees participate in activities to help attendees stay connected to the community as well as family and friends
You will also provide information leaflets and signpost any enquiries for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care Services
