Trinity Community Project are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and pro active people to join the Trustees board of Trinity Community Project. TCP promotes the health and well-being of people with a learning disability and/or
mental health issues. We believe in helping people to make their own choices and
progress towards independent living.
Our staff and volunteers run groups promoting practical and social skills for
independent living. We also offer a day service focusing on social activities and
companionship. We provide a safe, friendly and 'fun' environment for people.
Opportunity Type: Long-term Commitment
District: St Albans
Location: Indoor
Time of day: Weekday Afternoons, Weekday Evenings
Practical Considerations: This role will require you to attend two monthly meetings.
Requirements: Will require a criminal record check (DBS)

Full Description:
You could be someone with experience of working in a social care environment, supporting people living with a disability or have a management, business, marketing or fund-raising background. Most important, you are someone who will take an interest in our work, making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged and marginalised people, as well as attending our two-monthly meetings. You may know someone who would be interested in gaining charity experience as part of their CV. This is an opportunity for people to enhance their own skills, take part in decision making, and get involved in running a charity.
