Abbey View Community Athletics Track (AVCAT, charity number 1207500) is a charity created to ensure the long term future of athletics in St Albans. Our track is used by all sectors of the community, including athletics and running clubs, schools, and disability sports. Additionally, St Albans Track hosts a number of athletes that have reached national selection for England and of course, the ultimate accolade of a 17 year old 800m Olympian. We are looking for Trustees to join the the newly formed Abbey View Community Athletics Track (AVCAT) Charity. You would join the leadership team of dedicated trustees, who are engaged in the advancement of sport in Hertfordshire, for the public benefit, through the provision of the athletics track at Abbey View.

Full Description:
This role requires:
Experience in operating a facility, ideally with experience of running a track facility.
To grow and support a small team of volunteers and part time staff to help day to day operations.
Working with HR trustee to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for the benefit of all community users.
Identification of new equipment needs and informing the treasurer accordingly.
