Sustainable St Albans are looking for volunteers to help organise community events as part of our Sustfest team.

Sustainable St Albans are a charity working to fight the causes and impact of climate change and increase sustainability in the way we live and the systems we exist within.

We are looking for people with an interest in events planning to support our SustFest team (who run our sustainability festival every year) and to support events across the year run by Sustainable St Albans. This role is primarily in St Albans and the surrounding villages e.g. Redbourn.

Practical Considerations: We are looking for people with local knowledge who can have availability in person for planning and coordinating events which are usually held on evenings and weekends.

Full Description:
We are hoping to run events such as film screenings, talks, and clothes swaps by liaising with existing active groups and also engaging new groups that are interested in planning sustainable events. Volunteers will be encouraged to bring their own ideas and community networks to run a variety of engaging events across the district.
