Fantastic Friday Update

We have reached the end of another very meaningful month, full of so many opportunities for community awareness.

This week we would like to bring to your attention  "Cancer Prevention Action Week" that takes place on 20th-26th February which aims to raise awareness of cancer and cancer prevention, encouraging everyone to take action. This year they’ll be focusing on how people can cut back on processed meat, which is linked to bowel cancer. You can find more about it here.

Tuesday 21st is Pancake Day, or Shrove Tuesday! You can find out some fun ways to celebrate this yummy occasion here.

We would like to remind you that LGBT History Month runs until the end of February.  You can find out more about important historic milestones for our LGBT communities here.

Please note that due to flooding our Community Hub, at 5 Leeming Road, Borehamwood is currently closed for repairs. We’re working hard to ensure alternative provision is available for those who need to meet with us as soon as possible but in the meantime please do give us a call at 01727 649930.

Stay safe, warm and have a lovely weekend!
