Fantastic Friday Update

This week we would like to highlight the importance of two campaigns.

"Human Rights Day" will be remembered on the 10th of December and this year's theme is "Freedom, Equality and Justice for All".

On Tuesday 12th of December, we will remember those who lost their lives at work whatever their job, whatever their level, whatever their industry, whatever their politics through the "National Workplace Day of Remembrance".

Communities 1st is working hard to organise friendly Christmas calls and door-to-door visits for people who would otherwise be alone this festive season. Although this will be an exciting time for many of us - we are mindful that many people struggle with loneliness and isolation at this time of the year and want to help as best as we can.

If you are one of our volunteers and would like to help us with the calls or the door-to-door visits or you would like to receive them, please do get in touch!

Take care, stay warm and have a lovely weekend!
