Hertsmere Community Lottery is an online sustainable fundraising solution designed to help local not-for-profits to diversify their fundraising streams and enable year-round fundraising in a safe, fun and effective way.
Tickets cost £1 with 60p going towards local good causes.

The draw is weekly with a jackpot of £25,000 for a matching sequence of six numbers, other prizes being £2,000, £250, £25 or three free tickets.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to registered charities to support projects that equip people (18 or older) from disadvantaged groups with the critical life skills necessary to gain employment.

The Cost-of-Living Fund provides non repayable grants ranging from £10,000 to £250,000 to help organisations already assisting people impacted by the cost-of-living crisis to maintain, increase, launch or improve products or services.

The Ironmonger Company is looking for projects that deliver clearly defined educational benefits to a specific group of children or young people. Preference will be given to projects piloting new approaches where the outcomes will be disseminated to a wider audience.

Grants of up to £7,000 are available to charities in the UK to support preventative and early community based intervention programmes that focus on helping older people stay in their own homes and maintain their independence.

Grants can be used to cover essential expenses such as purchasing a new fridge, paying unexpected bills, food, clothing, or covering gas and electricity costs. Referral Agents will write and submit the application on the older person’s behalf, ensuring they understand their situation, the support required and assessing any evidence.

The Veolia Environmental Trust has launched its latest funding round, offering grants to support community and environmental initiatives. Available grants include community grants and habitat and biodiversity grants, both ranging from £10,000 to £75,000, designed for not-for-profit organisations and local authorities.

Material Focus has announced that its Electricals Recycling Fund is due to reopen to applications for projects that make it easier for UK householders to recycle their electrical goods. Organisations can register their details to receive updates on the 2024 funding round.

UK churches requiring urgent maintenance works and high-priority small repairs can apply for grants from £500 to £5,000.

Village halls across England can apply for grants to improve and modernise their facilities. The Grant Fund will provide capital only grants of up to £5,000 for capital improvement projects to create welcoming spaces that encourage more people to make use of their village halls, and bring people together.

Grants of up to £500 are available to groups who are able to transport residents to their local community activities including warm spaces and lunch clubs. Especially those who live in rural areas.

The Movement Fund, worth £160 million over the next four years, will offer crowdfunding pledges, grants and resources to provide physical activity opportunities for the people and communities who need it the most.
